Campaign for Sony

Annual Electronics Catalogue is distributed across 400,000+ households. SMS polling of traditional direct mail media to track consumers response to advertised products. AdTags were embedded in key pages with an SMS short code to text in.

Objective:

To gain real-time insights on the readership / interaction pattern and shelf life of the catalogue.

Results:

  • 30,000 mobile responses in the first 8 weeks.
  • Most responses were received after 7pm.

Sony was able to build a significant database of customers based on this campaign. AdTag provided Sony with tangible leads for future campaigns and use mobile to reach customers in a more personal setting building one-to-one relationships.

Campaign for Events Promoter and Sponsor- Professional Beach Volleyball Tournament

Objective:

Create excitement around the event and drive merchant sales.

Time Frame:

At Event- Live related text messages

Mechanism:

Drive event attendees to merchant kiosks through on-site text messages and mobile coupons.

Results:

  • 5,650 Spectators with 5,389 SMS received
  • 1,322 Unique individuals responded = 23
  • Most response in one hour = 707

Merchants were able to create excitement before, during and after the event to drive consumers into their stores.

Campaign for Top Branded Eyewear Manufacturer

Product: AdTag

Objective:

To generate sales by driving consumers to look at advertisements in each type of traditional media and to measure effectiveness of advertising spent in the different print categories to understand which was the most effective.

Three week newspaper & magazine campaign

Results:

  • Total responses: 8,919
  • 20% Lead generation for purchase of trial lenses

Real-time analytics provided unique customer profiles enabling the client to further target their audience using traditional media. The client was also able to determine which advertising media was more effective.
